As a Career or For Fun - LEARN TO FLY
Pilots all start at the same place – Getting the Private Pilot License. Students will need to finance most of the costs, but we can help with discounted rates and possible scholarships. We have provided almost $50,000 in scholarships so far.
Flight training is provided by a flight school vendor at Sandpoint, Idaho Airport. Pilot Training Northwest, LLC. offers our high school students deeply discounted rates for flight time and instruction. Costs for study materials and testing fees are separate. Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 1441 offers scholarships to support NIHSAP students.
For students planning a career as a pilot, earning your private license with our program can save a lot of money and time with further training. For a career position, a student will need an instrument rating and commercial rating, which can be earned through a local flight school or college program. Let’s talk about the options and let us help you get off the ground.
