Launching Careers

We are Launching Careers in Our Region’s Growing Aerospace Industry! The North Idaho High School Aerospace Program provides an experience-oriented “head start” for local students aspiring to pursue careers in our region’s growing aerospace industry. Based in Sandpoint, Idaho, participation is open to area high school students, including home school and other non-traditional students.

Aviation Workshop

ACES Aviation Workshop is all about hands-on learning.  Right now, ACE’s main focus is building a two passenger Zenith Zodiac CH610XL kit airplane. Teens are taught how to interpret aviation blueprints and plans, airframe and powerplant (engine) systems, proper use of tools, metal fabrication and more. More Information

Career Guidance & Preparation

North Idaho High School Aerospace Program (NIHSAP) students learn about aerospace career options, interact with accomplished industry professionals, acquire aviation mechanics skills, complete pilot ground school, potentially pursue their pilot’s license, plus seek industry-related summer internship and job opportunities. These experiences put the student on the “fast track” to a rewarding career in the aerospace industry. Get Started
