NIHSAP welcomes the support of volunteers,
In fact, we couldn’t function without them! Here are a few ways you can engage with us and support our mission:
- Serve as a mentor to our ACES Aviation Workshop students. If you are an aviation mechanic, aviation engineer or pilot with aircraft-building experience, we would like to meet you. ACES takes place each Saturday at the Sandpoint High School from 9am – 4pm.
- Certified flight or ground school instructors are needed to help meet our increased demand for student pilot training (Light Sport Aircraft certification). If you have credentials and enjoy working with young people, we would like to talk with you about how you could be of great service to the program.
- Help “fuel” our ACES Aviation Workshop students and volunteers with lunchtime meal. If you’re a licensed food service provider and would help us by providing one Saturday lunch for 25 people, we would be incredibly grateful. We’re looking for 12 all-star lunch providers who will furnish one meal per quarter (4 lunches per year).
- Help us share information about NIHSAP via Facebook and Twitter. A volunteer with social media prowess would be of great assistance to us
